Please arrive 5 minutes before the start time of your activity to ensure you're ready to start on time - I often have bookings back to back. Please park where indicated by the pink pony party sign and wait with your car - Please text when you arrive and I'll come and collect you.
What to Wear
Please ensure everyone is dressed appropriately - a warm top is advisable at all times. Please bring a waterproof unless it's baking (!) and in the winter please bring a waterproof to keep the wind and rain out (to wear over another coat) plus hats, 2 pairs of socks/tights and gloves.
Sturdy shoes (to protect toes!) are an insurance requirement eg old school shoes- NO open toe sandals (incl adults)/ flimsy canvas sandals. I suggest you bring wellies in the winter for puddles/mud!
Trousers/leggings are essential for riders -can be worn under a dress.Trousers only in the winter - no leggings - its just too cold! Children are welcome to come dressed up as they wish.
What to expect here
The activities take place in our orchard at the bottom of our garden. We have an outside toilet and no formal cafe facilities. For safety reasons please do not bring food or eat or drink during the activity (unless you are here for party tea where you will be located away from hungry ponies and unicorns!)
I'll come and greet you at your car and will host your activity. Unless you are booked onto one of my holiday events, you'll be the only visitors on site during your activity.
All most all activities include grooming, decorating and riding (riding only for those under around 135cm and 6 stones). If your child is above average weight for their age please contact me - I can usually use a slightly bigger pony - just saves any embarrassment on the day or pony welfare issues. Other activities are available and are provided depending on what options you have booked.
This is not a location which is suitable for child spectators, simply because the activity takes place in our garden and the only entertainment is the pony/unicorn activity. Where possible please only bring children who are participating in the activity. IF you HAVE to bring additional children there is a £25 charge for all 2-16 year olds who attend. Subject to the agreement of the organiser, they are welcome to join in the grooming and decorating (but not riding).
For the safety of all, no dogs, no ball-games, no running near ponies, no smoking

Please note the other information on this page such as where we are and what to wear. This information is included in the visitor information link below (which can be printed onto the back of the invites)
I contact mums /dads 10 days before the party to check final arrangements. You can change numbers/party package/options (incl party tea) etc at that point.
The balance of your party is due the Monday before by bacs or on the day in cash.
Please arrive 5 minutes before the start time of your activity to ensure you're ready to start on time. If you're bringing party food you're welcome to arrive 20 minutes before your activity starts but please leave all children with an adult in the car parking area.
If you text me on arrivaI will come and collect you at the appropriate time.
My marquee has some decoration in it (video below). You are welcome to add to those decorations/bring helium balloons - all I ask is that you don't mark the marquee (no super sticky attachments), any balloons are only used inside or at the entrance to the marquee (ponies and balloons don't mix!) and you take all decorations and fixings with you when you leave.
There is usually a happy birthday banner in the marquee - what works really well is 1 or 2 sets of 3 helium balloons, one for inside the marquee, one for the entrance. A balloon arch can be displayed on the same table as the cake. Please ensure no balloons escape into the environment - we are in a rural area and balloons do cause death to livestock if they investigate and eat them.
If you are bringing food you're welcome to arrive 20 minutes before the start of your party but you MUST let me know - we're usually decorating unicorns right up to 5 mins before your party starts - if we leave them to their own devices they usually get their decorations tangled up in something and we really want the first view of the unicorns to be as magical as possible ie not with a wonky or damaged horn! If I know you're coming a little earlier I can work my timings accordingly. Please leave children with an adult in the car park area for health and safety reasons.
Grandparents/Aunts etc are welcome to come and enjoy and parents of children attending are also welcome to stay. If your party is between October and March I restrict total numbers (including adults) to 12 so that i can keep our grass mud free for future visitors AND to ensure that everyone can hide in the marquee if the weather isn't playing nice.
You're welcome to bring a birthday cake which can usually be displayed on one of our tables, In order to finish on time (and so everything is nice and sparkly and ready for my next party), singing happy birthday needs to be done at least 10 mins before the end of the party. Birthday cake may be cut up here but please add it to the party bags for the children to take home as it just takes ages to cut , hand out and for the children to eat it. (Plus they've usually had some form of desert with their party tea so not in need to cake)
If you would like us to serve the food etc please request the service option. Please do not feel the need to tidy up after party tea - we'll sort that out.
I can offer light adult refreshments - hot drinks and biccies, for a small additional fee. If you prefer you are welcome to bring light refreshments for adults - please let me know in advance and i can provide a table to serve them from. I'm happy for parents to bring Prosecco as long as you bring plastic/paper 'glasses' (for safety reasons).
If you're travelling from afar, The Morris Dancer pub in Kelsall is great for lunch, dinner, morning coffee and afternoon tea. There is a public kids play area just to the side of it (opposite the co op) which is clean and has a range of play items and plenty of space for children to let off steam. Alternatively The Hollies cafe in Little Budworth is about 30 mins from us and a useful stop if you're travelling from North of the M56. You'll find it bout 5 mins from junction 10 of the M56 ( about 5 mins from the M6/M56 interchange). First exit towards Northwich (NOT A49).
